B.Com. LL.B.

The B.Com.LL.B. Programme will last five academic years, divided into 10 semesters. Every academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester will last 18 weeks. Students who successfully finish the five-year programme are granted the B.Com. LL.B degree. According to the Bar Council of India Rules, lateral entry and lateral exit have been barred since 2009. The college's teaching and training are conducted in conformity with the rules and regulations of the Bar Council of India.

Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant who has successfully completed a Pre-University Course or Senior Secondary School course (+2) or equivalent such as (11+1, 'A' level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognised University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognised by the Union or by the State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognised by the government of that country for the purpose of issuing a passport. Applicants who have obtained a +2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or a First Degree Certificate after pursuing studies via distance or correspondence are also eligible for admission to the course. Furthermore, applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation or post graduation directly through the Open Universities system without any basic qualification for pursuing such studies are ineligible for admission to the course.
• In the case of general category applicants, the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45 percent (44.5 percent and above shall be treated as 45 percent) of total marks and 40 percent (39.5 percent and above shall be treated as 40 percent) of total marks in the case of SC and ST applicants.
• The maximum age for admission is twenty years in the case of general applicants and twenty-two years in the case of applicants from SC, ST, and other backward communities as of June 1st.
